The Team Behind NEO

Kody Pritchard has been passionate about the outdoors for as long as he can remember. His guiding journey began in 2009, fresh out of high school, when he traveled to the McKenzie Mountains of the Northwest Territories. Over the years, he hasn’t missed a single season and has guided hunters across Western Canada, the USA, Mexico, and New Zealand, pursuing a variety of wildlife.

In 2022, Kody founded Northern Element Outfitters Ltd. With over a decade of experience and a dedication to honesty and quality, he created a place where hunters of all experience levels could enjoy the beauty and thrill of Alberta’s wilderness.

Now, alongside his partner, Darbi Pritchard, they’re proud to offer guided hunts for trophy-quality black bears and wolves. To them, the highlight of each trip is the camaraderie, the stories, and the opportunity of a mature wolf or bear. They deliver experiences that keep hunters coming back year after year, and they can’t wait to share their passion for the outdoors with you!

Our Mission

  • Deliver a first-class hunting experience from start to finish

  • Provide an opportunity at a trophy animal

  • Create exciting memories that last a lifetime.

We work hard to give every hunter the kind of experience we’d want to have ourselves.

What Sets Us Apart

  • Record-Quality Trophies

  • Our average bear size consistently ranks among Alberta’s best.

  • All-Inclusive Comfort

  • From hearty meals to cozy accommodations, every detail is covered.

What Our Clients Are Saying

  • "I couldn't recommend Northern Element Outfitters enough. Kody and crew went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I've never had anyone work harder to help me be successful on a hunt. The bear density and size of mature boars in the area far exceeded my expectations as well. I can't wait to return and experience it again!"
